Cynthia is married to a retired Huntsville Fire Department captain. She has two grown step-children, three grandchildren, two Jack Russell puppies, a blue-and-gold macaw, and an Indian ringneck parrot. “It’s never quiet at my house,” she says. Reading is a major pastime of hers, and she also loves spending time with her grandkids.
Cynthia graduated from Calhoun Community College in 1993, and she received her insurance licence in 2001. She spent much of her career traveling the country, handling employee benefit enrollment meetings for school systems, hospitals, and corporations. She just joined Reed three months ago, and she already says she can see herself retiring as a Reed employee, although that’s still many years in the future.
Her favorite part of the job is helping the employees understand their benefits, and getting to know everyone personally. “This is the first company I have worked for where I feel comfortable and appreciated,” she says. “Mr. Reed takes care of his employees, and it shows in their loyalty.”
